In brief, you should know the following about me: I graduated from Emory University School of Medicine and completed residency training in anesthesiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Following that, I completed a fellowship in Neurosurgical anesthesia at Johns Hopkins Hospital. After training I served on active duty in the United States Army. Since leaving the Army I have been in private practice in anesthesiology in Tallahassee, Florida. While my subspecialty training was in neurosurgical anesthesia, I have also had extensive training and experience in cardiac, pediatric, and obstetric anesthesia. During my career to date I have provided anesthesia for more than 55,000 patients. This includes more than 1600 patients undergoing open heart surgical procedures, and more than 5,000 pediatric patients. I have extensive experience in regional nerve blocks in pediatric and adult patients, and have also performed more than 15,000 epidurals (for obstetric and other procedures).
